Pune, Maharashtra (India): 26th ‘Dr. B. S. Bhange Memorial International Multidisciplinary Conference’ organised by Modern Education Society’s Ness Wadia College of Commerce. It was inaugurated by Dr. Renu Shome, Director, Council for European Chamber of Commerce (India). Pro-Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University Parag Kalkar, Director, Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development, Savitribai Phule Pune University Prof. Dr. Devidas Golhar, Principal of Ness Wadia College of Commerce Vrushali Randhir, Vice Principal Dr. Jayashree Venkatesh, Vice Principal Dr. Prakash Chaudhary, Prof. Sachin Sanap, Dr. Ashok Bhange,  Conference Coordinator Dr. Rajesh Raut, Deepak Vayal were present. 

During her keynote, Dr Shome said, ‘Cultural orientation, professional training, global awareness, intercultural understanding, and multilingualism are necessary for business development at the global level’. Dr. Kalkar said, ‘Digital transformation of businesses and automation technology are driving business growth, efficiency improvement and innovation. This technology is driving rapid growth in the e-commerce market’. Prof. Dr. Golhar, while talking about startups, said that, ‘Startups require less capital and space than traditional businesses. A clear and technical approach of the startups is important for this. Golhar expressed the opinion that startups depend on various types of innovations to succeed’.

Industry and technology experts such as Vedant Ahluwalia, Suhas Patwardhan, Dr. Rishi Kapal and Chartered Accountant Mousumi Shah discussed in depth the financial and technological challenges in business. The two-day conference concluded with a special guidance session by Dr. Ravikumar Chitnis, Vice Chancellor, MIT WPU, Prof. Dr. S. N. Pathan, Former Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Amity University,  Vice Chancellor Dr. M. D. Lawrence, Dr. P. A. Inamdar University and a lecture on “Developed India and the path towards self-reliance by 2047” by Dr. R. R. Biradar, Registrar of Central University Karnataka, Dharwad.
