Supported by the Foundation, the children have overcome financial hurdles to secure admission to top institutes.
Ahmedabad : Access to quality education in a safe and stimulating environment is the cornerstone of progress, helping in breaking barriers and inspiring students to achieve their dreams. Visamo Kids Foundation, an initiative of Kalorex Foundation, has been working for 21 years to empower young minds and transform their lives with educational opportunities.
The year 2023 has seen three outstanding students of Visamo Kids Foundation completing their 12-year journey with the home and stepping out into the world for higher studies. The three students are a reflection of the foundation’s excellent work.
The first student is Prachi Rohit, who is now studying at the NDC Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in Vadodara. Her father is a salesman in Anand district. Prachi completed her schooling at Anand Niketan School’s Satellite campus in Ahmedabad.
Drashti Makwana, the second student, has secured admission to the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Jodhpur. Supported by Visamo Kids Foundation, Drashti scored an impressive 87% as a class 12 student at the Zebar School and did not allow her family’s poor finances to get in the way of realising her dream. Her father is a plumber by profession and the family lives in Behrampura in Ahmedabad.
Ashish Sonagara, another determined student supported by Visamo Kids Foundation, is pursuing computer engineering from Silver Oak College, Ahmedabad. He completed his schooling at St. Kabir School in Naranpura. Ashish hails from a village in Surendranagar district. His father works as a tailor in the village.
“At Visamo Kids Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of education and it is our endeavour to support bright students.
