Nursing Council vice chairman Iqbal Kadiwala gave understanding of emergency treatment to students
Surat: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) session has organised for students of Red & White Group of Institutes under the motivational presence of Mrs.Dr. Parulben Vadgama, Head of Chest Department, Surat Civil Hospital, at KC Kothari School Campus, Varachha. Students got an understanding of emergency treatment under the guidance of Mr. Iqbal Kadiwala, Vice President of Nursing Council and training by ‘Family Physician Association’ and ‘Manav’ Trust.
Mrs. Dr. Parulben Vadagama, who was especially present on the occasion, said that it was an good opportunity to be a part of the celebration of International Women’s Day in the true sense. CPR is a technique that helps to maintain the vital functions of a person’s body in the event that breathing and blood circulation have stopped. These short-term measures can be crucial in saving lives and stabilizing the patient’s condition before receiving medical treatment. Not only is training in CPR essential, but judicious use of CPR during an emergency will make this training a real sense.
Mr. Iqbal Kadiwala, who registered his special presence, he said that after receiving today’s training, the role of the students present here will become important in the future society. In addition, he explained the importance of this training to all present and encouraged students to help the needy ones..
