AMNS International School student Tanishka Desai named “Best Speaker” in national level debate contest

Hazira-Surat : In a significant achievement, Tanishka Desai, a Grade 9 student at AMNS International School, was awarded the title of “Best Speaker” in the final round of the Frankenstein Debate Tournament, hosted by the Indian Debating League. The event was recently held at IIT Delhi. This year’s theme for the annual event was “Climate Calls: Growing Pie, Shrinking Lives.” Competing in the senior category, Tanishka emerged as the winner.

Tanishka demonstrated exceptional eloquence and analytical skills throughout the contest, which began with rigorous online preliminary rounds featuring students from all over the country. Her consistent performance earned her a spot among the top 50 participants, leading to a place in the semi-finals and finals, which were held in offline mode.

Tanishka continued her excellent performance in the semi-finals and final round to clinch both, the Best Speaker award and the 1st place in the Original Oratory category, securing her a well-deserved place among the tournament’s top five speakers nationally.

Commenting on Tanishka’s achievement, Sunita Matoo, Principal, AMNS International School, said, “We are immensely proud of Tanishka and her amazing achievement.
