Surat: T.M. Patel International School organized an engaging supermarket learning trip for its pre-primary students, offering them an opportunity to explore how a modern supermarket operates beyond what they learn in the classroom. The activity was designed to help young learners understand the structure, coordination, and management behind everyday shopping environments.
As part of the school’s experiential learning approach, students visited Reliance Supermarket, where they observed product categorization, billing counters, storage areas, customer assistance processes, and departmental arrangements. The visit helped children identify essential goods while developing curiosity, awareness, and independent thinking.
The trip also supported the development of social interaction, confidence, communication, and observation skills. By interacting with supermarket staff and exploring different sections, students learned how various roles and systems work together to ensure smooth operations.
