Sadbhavana Old Age Home needs “Mavtar”

Surat. 04 May, 2026 : We need mavtar: Old age homes are not part of Indian culture, but they have become a necessity of today’s Kaliyug. Unfortunately, as the joint family system is breaking down, many individuals are becoming destitute. In Rajkot, for the past ten years, “Vinubhai Bachubhai Nagrecha Campus” Sadbhavana Old Age Home has been operating. In this old age home, without any discrimination of caste or religion, needy elderly people are respectfully admitted as per rules and within the admission capacity of the institution, and all facilities are provided free of cost. No fees, charges or expenses are taken from the needy elderly persons admitted in the old age home. All facilities are provided to the elderly free of cost.

With a huge cost of 500 crores, in 1400 rooms, 5000 destitute-sick-bedridden elderly will be accommodated in the new Vinubhai Bachubhai Nagrecha campus where they will stay completely free for lifetime. There will be 7 towers with 11 floors each, so that every individual gets enough space and care. A separate tower has also been made for Jain community elders where a Derasar has also been built. With construction of 20 lakh square feet, “Vinubhai Bachubhai Nagrecha Campus” Sadbhavana Old Age Home.

Talking about Sadbhavana Old Age Home, it is a special old age home dedicated to providing free lifelong care with dignity and commitment to childless, destitute, bedridden and elderly persons suffering from cancer and coma. Spread across 30 acres of peaceful and environment friendly land, it is like a calm heaven where elderly can rest in the gentle embrace of nature. Currently, in Gujarat’s largest old age home, 700+ mavtars are living peacefully. Out of them, 260 elders are bedridden (diaper dependent). Completely bedridden individuals (of any age) who have no one to take care of them, living in lonely and helpless conditions or praying daily for early death due to their suffering, such individuals (of any age), including childless elderly suffering from cancer and coma, have a special department started for them in Sadbhavana Old Age Home. Such childless, bedridden individuals (of any age) are also being given free shelter as part of duty. Service is being provided as much as possible.
