While early detection and timely intervention can significantly improve cancer outcomes, many patients continue to face barriers in accessing specialised cancer care services, often requiring them to travel long distances and bare high costs for appropriate care. Our Surat center is an embodiment of the mission of HOC Vedanta – MOC Cancer Care to extend the facilities of advanced oncology services by creating neighborhood cancer facilities.”
Dr Anokhi Shah, medical oncologist at HOC Vedanta- Surat added, “The process of treating cancer involves frequent hospital visits for several months, which means that access and convenience play a very crucial role in the life of patients and their families. This centre is specifically designed to provide cancer services in an patient-friendly setting, which will make sure that patients have all of the treatment options available, without any inconvenience and right near their home. Cancer care is more than just treatment; it is also about offering personalized and warm care while minimizing hassles. We intend to offer both at HOC Vedants- Surat.”
