Surat | During a Grand Honor Festival of the above said Society, Dr. Neelam Goyal, in her awareness & training campaign, details the Myths & the Fact in the context of 6600 MW Mithi Virdi Nuclear Power Project. She also makes aware in the context of indigenous 500-500 MW Smart Modular Reactors.

Parmanu Saheli says that in our country there is lack of the Real world Awareness in the context of Indian Nuclear Power Program and the Nuclear Power Plants. Public has many misconceptions- viz, The Nuclear Power Plants emit a lot of radiation.

Fact is that, we all receive yearly, average, 200 millirem radiation dose via the Nature’s cosmic rays, milk, vegetables, home-bricks etc. In addition, one time X-ray and CT Scan testing the patients receive 20-30 millirem and 5000-20000 millirem respectively.

While the surrounding general Public of a Nuclear Power Plant receive only 2 millirem dose of such radiation.

Parmanu Saheli says, there is a in time need to make the public aware about the facts and is to set a conducive environment about the Nuclear Power Plants. Every Participant was sincere about the untold Fact. President of the Society, Nanubhai Vanani and the former Education Minister were impressed with Bharat kee Parmanu Saheli and say to protect the Environment via the civil uses of the Atomic energy in energy production, in medical and in our industries as well.

With the President of Youth Organization, Hansmukh K Mangukiya, Balaji G Mangukiya, Hansmukh B Mangukiya, Bharat M Mangukiya, Manish K Mangukiya, Bhikhubhai Mangukiya, Ravibhai Manukiya and Harishbhai Mangukiya, every participant took an oath to support for the Campaign of Dr. Neelam Goyal.
