Proud moment for Shivaji Ganguly’s Academy as their 3 direct disciples achieved 5th Dan Black belt – Shihan

Shihan Shivaji Ganguly is the founder of Full Contact Kyokushin Karate and a direct disciple of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. With a strong desire to inspire and empower people through self-defense, he has established the international Full Contact Kyokushin Karate organisation known as the ‘World Karate Council Mkyokushin’, with its headquarters in Kolkata. For the first time, three Indian branch chiefs, Sensei Shibayan Ganguly, Sauvik Chakraborty, and Prabir Mondal, took the 5th Dan examination for the title of “Shihan” under the World Karate Council Mkyokushin. Hanshi Shivaji Ganguly himself took this exam. “I am delighted to inform you that three Indian branch chiefs have been given the title of “shihan” under the World Karate Council Mkyokushin for the first time. Their dedication to Kyukoshin Karate over the course of 30 years, 28 years, and 32 years has yielded enormous results. Shihan is a very important and respected title in Kyukoshin Karate”, says Shyamantak Ganguly, 3rd rank Dan Black Belt in Kyokushin Karate and direct disciple of

Hanji Shivaji Gaanguly’s Academy mind & body.

Many international groups began to form Kyokushin Karate organisations over the years, but none of them captured the true essence of Sosai and his teachings. It is a very proud moment for the three Indian chiefs and the Shivaji Gaanguly’s Mind & Body academy. According to Hanji Shivaji Ganguly, “I’m delighted to announce that Kyukoshin India now has a very strong set of instructors. Kyukoshin India will now cover all of India for those who are very interested in developing their kyukoshin karate but are unable to find a suitable way out. So we invite all kyokushin members to join us and train hard “.
