Hazira-Surat, 7th March 2023: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), a joint venture of ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, two of the largest steel manufacturers in the world, organised a session ahead of International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day on March 8 is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. AM/NS India hosted a session “Unleash Your Potential” on March 4 as a part of International Women’s Day celebrations. The event brought together many passionate and inspiring women.
Guest speaker Sonica Aron, who is a diversity champion and board member of Gender at Work India Trust, addressed the audience. She exhorted women to make use of their talent and ability to unleash their potential and make it to the top. She urged them to dream and dream big and also shared examples from her own journey to motivate them. She also called upon women to support other women and play their role in creating a world that is equitable and fair to all.
