A unique initiative – 15 couples including an elderly couple tied in the life of mass marriage

Surat – A group of 15 lucky couples, including a couple senior citizen, concluded their marriage with great fanfare from 8 am on Sunday, April 17 at Shantam, Vesu, Surat.

Sanjay Saraogi of Lakshmipati and Vinod Agarwal, founder of Shantam, had a special contribution in making the program a success. Madhu Agarwal, Kavita Agarwal, Deepa Kedia, Aruna Saraf and Saroj Agarwal of the Wedding Organizing Committee told that all the bridegrooms and brides were dressed up at the wedding venue with a gaiety and a procession was taken out in the presence of family members and many invited guests.

Thereafter, the couples garlanded each other in the mandap decorated under the marriage and took rounds in front of the fire, gracefully held the hand of the bridegroom with Vedic chants and vowed to be together for life. In this marriage, all the newly married couples were given a lot of life-useful things as a gift.

The organizing committee told that with the consent of both the families, a sixty-eight-year-old woman and a seventy-two year old man were tied for a unique life bond. During this, there was an atmosphere of joy of the newlyweds.

The sentimentality in their farewell bell was also visible on the faces of all the people present in the ceremony. Food was arranged for all the families and relatives who had come. On this occasion invited guests and many young men and women, executive women and all the officials were present. Along with this, marriage certificates of all Navyugs were also made.
