Experts put h their views for the development of processing and weaving industry

Surat: Textile industry, one of the major industries of Surat, is currently facing various challenges. This is affecting the business in many ways. New technologies and new strategies are the need of the hour in the textile industry to survive in domestic and foreign competition. Special efforts are being made to maintain and increase the textile industry in Surat. In which a special meeting was organized by Archroma Company. In which various textile experts presented their views on textile processing and related problems and their solutions.

In which Anjani Prasad of Archroma India, Textile Commissioner M. Bina (IAS), Joint DGFT Commerce, Government of India, Abhimanyu Sharma, Arun Varshan, J. Raghunath and Ajoy Bhattacharya as well as Vijaykumar Mevawala president of Surat Chamber of Commerce provided their views and guidance.

Surat is the largest center of textile industry in the country, so as much as there is development here, there are as many problems and challenges. Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is the oldest apex chamber of the country. ASSOCHAM is working on many fronts to strengthen and enable various industries. ASSOCHAM has a network of more than 4,50,000 members across the country who are associated with various sectors. It also works at local, national and international level. MSME is a big sector in ASSOCHAM which represents the industry.

Along with this, ASSOCHAM also includes more than 400 associations, federations and regional chambers. it is mainly associated with the vision of New India and acts as a link between the industry and the government. it has prepared a plan to give a new direction to the textile industry of Surat, under which this meeting was organized at the Sarsana Chambers of Commerce Dome in Surat.

This meeting was organized by Archroma Company. Archroma is a global specialty chemical company known for innovation, service, cost efficiency and progress for the textile market. For years, Indian industries have been working to ensure that they can face global competition and grow their business locally.

In this meeting, information and views were presented by various experts on development opportunities in the textile industry, textile trade duties and sustainable future in the textile industry. In a way, this meeting was becoming very important for the textile industry of Surat. On this occasion, small and big businessmen associated with the textile industry, owners of textile units and people associated with textile technology were present in large numbers.
