Feelaxo: The Platform That’s Transforming How India Books Salon and Spa Services

Mumbai, (Maharashtra), [India], 22nd April, 2025: What if booking a salon appointment was as seamless as ordering food or booking a cab? What if beauty professionals and small businesses had access to the same tech advantages as big businesses—without the high costs?

In a sector where over 90% of salons still rely on manual methods like notepads and walk-ins, Feelaxo is introducing much-needed structure and simplicity.

That’s the question Anand, founder of Monkman Global Pvt. Ltd. and the visionary behind Feelaxo.com, asked one frustrating weekend in Mumbai when he found himself spending hours just to get a haircut. The lack of a reliable online booking platform for salons sparked an idea that’s now changing the game for beauty and wellness businesses across India.

With over 20 years of experience in brand strategy, UI/UX design, and product management—and a successful agency, Nestcraft Design, under his belt, Anand combined deep industry knowledge with a personal pain point to launch Feelaxo in September 2024.

Launched in September 2024, Feelaxo.com is a cloud-based platform designed to streamline operations for salons and spas—particularly small and mid-sized businesses. From smart appointment scheduling and automated reminders to billing, POS, inventory, and staff management, Feelaxo combines multiple functions into a single, easy-to-use interface.

Unlike many existing software options that are either too expensive or too complex, Feelaxo’s pay-as-you-go model and free-to-list approach make it accessible to beauty professionals with minimal technical knowledge. This affordability and ease-of-use are especially crucial in a market where a significant portion of businesses are unorganized and lack digital infrastructure.

India’s beauty and wellness industry currently employs over 12.3 million people—66% of whom are women. By 2030, that number is projected to grow to 26.3 million. As the industry scales, solutions like Feelaxo play a vital role in ensuring salons can meet growing customer expectations while improving internal efficiency.

This dual advantage by offering online booking, real-time availability, and integrated CRM features, Feelaxo directly addresses these challenges—enhancing customer satisfaction and retention in the process.

With its marketplace model, salons and spas not only gain operational tools but also increased visibility to attract new clients online. Feelaxo has over 3,500 salons and spas listed on its platform, making it easy for users to book online appointments at nearby locations, saving both time and money. Currently, online booking is available in major metro cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, with plans to expand to other metros soon, according to Feelaxo founder Anand Singh

By merging tech accessibility with industry-specific functionality, Feelaxo is positioning itself as a one-stop solution for salons and spas looking to modernize and grow—without the complexity or cost of traditional enterprise software.

For business owners, managing appointments and listing on Feelaxo is completely free.
