Fifth Convocation held at the TeamLease Skills University campus

52 graduate Degrees and 14 Diplomas awarded by Skills Development University  

Vadodara:-  TeamLease Skills University, Vadodara, India’s First Vocational Skills University presented its Graduates as well Diploma holders at the University’s  Fifth  Convocation held at the University campus. The convocation was also broadcast live on Facebook.

The Registrar of TeamLease Skills University Prof H C Trivedi gave the welcome address and presented the University report. The Provost of TeamLease Skills University Prof. Dr. Avani Umatt, conferred the degrees and Diplomas to the graduants and delivered the Keynote address. Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) CA Vishal Doshi, graced the occasion as chief guest.  

A total of 52 degrees (6 BBA (Finance), 4 BBA (Marketing), 12 B.Com. (Finance and Business Operations), 6 B.Sc. (Hospitality and Tourism Management); 13 BCA ),  and 14 Diplomas in Medical Laboratory Technology were  awarded at the Fifth Convocation organized to confer Degrees and Diplomas to students who successfully completed their respective programmes in 2022. Eight Students: Sharma Sonal, Desai Birajkumar and Rohit Krunal of Department of Commerce and Management, Jatav Abhay of Department of Hospitality and Tourism, Suryavanshi Suhasi and Bariya Liza of Department of Information Technology, Rathawa Jagrutiben of Department of Health, Life and Applied Sciences and Rajput Kajalsingh of Department of Mechatronics were awarded the  TLSU gold medal for the academic year 2022-23, for passing all semesters at the first attempt with overall best academic performance amongst all students graduating in their respective discipline.

In the keynote address, after congratulating the graduates for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, Provost Prof. Dr. Avani Umatt, addressed the graduates as the future leaders of our society. She focussed on the need to embrace life-long learning and said “Education is not limited to the classroom or textbooks and is not defined by a syllabus or a degree. The world is constantly changing, and there is always more to learn.” She reminded the graduates of  the lessons, values, principles, skills and knowledge they received at TeamLease Skills University with advise for them to follow their passions and contribute to society using the education they have obtained. Speaking on the various  principles of life to be a successful and responsible citizens, “Learning is not the destination, learning is a journey” Prof. Umatt said. 

Ms Rituparna Chakraborty, advised graduates to consider the completion of their graduation as a new beginning to continue with their learning to make a better version of themselves.

The chief guest CA Vishal Doshi congratulated the graduating students and highlighted the contribution of parents in the achievements of the candidates. He advised graduates to make parents proud of their actions. He emphasized on importance of maintaining integrity and honesty throughout their lives. “Knowledge is an intangible asset, it is never visible, but it is always visible in the work, in the performance that you do” said CA Doshi  during his convocational address. With a numerous tips and guidance, CA Doshi motivated and encouraged students to be a successful and responsible citizens of India. He expressed his pleasure in observing the way students are imparted with knowledge and skills at TeamLease Skills University. 

Mr Manish Sabharwal, President of the University and executive vice chairman and co-founder of Teamlease Services Limited had expressed his best wishes and blessings to the graduates
