“India had always been known as the land that portrayed cultural and traditional vibrancy through its conventional arts and crafts. The Vijayanagar Empire was one of the richest state then known to the world. Several foreign travellers, who visited the empire during the 15th and 16th Centuries, have left glowing accounts of its splendour and wealth. The monuments speak volumes about the history of Hampi that used to be a prosperous and rich kingdom which was eventually ruined owing to the attacks made by the Moghuls. Making this sculpture for OMG! yeah mera India season 7, was a unique and satisfying experience. I have named my sculpture as ‘Gratitude’. Every Individual has his own dreams. But his mind is filled with lots of doubts and fears which are his own Demons, he need to fight with. You can only achieve the dreams if you have sense of gratitude towards near and dear ones and God. With gratitude and passion, you can achieve the unthinkable! That is the message I want to convey though this sculpture.”

Chef Devwrat’s Youtube channel ‘Dev’s Kitchen is known for interesting recipes and food sculpting. Dev’s kitchen is a platform where he shares his recipes and carving tutorials. He was associated for almost 10 years as Chef Anchor for ‘Aamhi Sare Khavvaye’ which is a very popular cookery show in Maharashtra. He is a household name in Maharashtra, due to his cooking skills on the show. In 2017 he created ‘largest Margarine sculpture in the world’ (1506.8 kg, Trimurti Sculpture), which was recognised by Guinness world records.
