IC3 2025 Regional Forum organized in Bhopal to Advance Career Counseling & Student Well-Being

Bhopal, 3rd February 2025: The 2025 IC3 Regional Forum reached Bhopal, bringing together educators, counselors, and representatives from leading institutions across Madhya Pradesh in the region to discuss the importance of career counseling and student well-being. Hosted at Billabong High International School, the forum focused on fostering dialogue to address the grassroots challenges faced by students and teachers while ensuring access to quality career counseling resources.

The IC3 Regional Forum in Bhopal saw 130+ registrations, reflecting strong engagement from Madhya Pradesh’s education community. With 40+ institutions in attendance, the forum focused on enhancing student outcomes through holistic career counseling practices. Under the theme “Counseling as a Culture,” discussions emphasized the need to integrate career counseling into the daily educational experience, ensuring it supports students academically and emotionally.

Speaking about the forum, Mr. Ganesh Kohli, Founder of the IC3 Movement, said, “Madhya Pradesh has a vibrant and committed educational community, but ensuring equitable access to quality career counseling remains a challenge. Our mission is to address this by ensuring every student, regardless of socio-economic background or gender, receives the guidance they need for holistic development. The theme ‘Counseling as a Culture’ reflects our belief that career counseling should be an integral part of education, providing students with a strong academic, emotional, and social foundation. Through the 2025 IC3 Regional Forums, we are working to embed counseling into daily school life, making it a norm rather than an occasional service. These forums create a vital platform to bridge counseling gaps, address local student needs, and foster collaboration among school leaders, counselors, and the broader Madhya Pradesh education ecosystem. We’re excited to work together to empower students and support their aspirations.”

Shri Vikas Kumar Agarwal, CBSE Regional Officer, Bhopal, India, also emphasized the importance of career guidance in supporting student success. He said, “Providing students with structured career counseling is an essential step in shaping their academic and professional journeys. Forums like these facilitate meaningful discussions between educators, policymakers, and counselors to address students’ evolving needs. With Madhya Pradesh’s growing education landscape, ensuring access to well-informed career guidance is key to preparing students for future challenges and opportunities. Collaborative efforts among schools, higher education institutions, and career counseling bodies will play a critical role in strengthening our education system and empowering students to make well-informed career choices.”
