‘Rann Ke Rang’ music video showcasing Kutch’s unique culture, heritage and grandeur launched

Composed by the popular music director duo of Sachin-Jigar the song has been presented by Lallooji & Sons.

Ahmedabad: The fame of the White Rann is set to scale newer heights as Bollywood’s popular music director duo of Sachin-Jigar has come up with “Rann Ke Rang”, a music video showcasing the unique culture, heritage, and grandeur of Kutch, that will immerse viewers in Kutch’s beauty and bright colours.

This is the second music video around the White Rann after “Rann Ki Kahaniya”, showcasing the mesmerizing beauty of the white desert, which is spread over 7,500 sq km and is one of the largest salt deserts in the world, and helped in bringing more tourists to Kutch.

“The sunrise and sunset at White Rann offer an unmatched experience to tourists. There are also places like Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) and other nearby historical monuments and places that are not on the usual tourist trail. Then there are folk dances and music programmes. The “Rann Ke Rang” is aimed at showcasing these unique specialities and experiences of the White desert,” said Bhavik Sheth, Financial and Operation manager.

The launch of “Rann Ke Rang” at Meraki Hall on Wednesday was attended by prominent political leaders, celebrities, social media influencers, travel agent partners, and others.

The journey from “Kutch Nahin Dekha To Kuchh Nahin Dekha” to “Rann Ke Rang” has ushered in growth and development in Kutch. It has also brought global recognition to the art and culture of the region.

Lallooji & Sons has been an integral part of Kutch’s transformation in the last 16 years and has been striving hard for the uplift of locals through Rann Utsav – The Tent City. Exemplifying the Vocal For Local approach, The Tent City has not just promoted the White Rann as a tourist destination but also contributed immensely to providing livelihood opportunities for locals.

Promoting a tourist destination through music has been a unique yet successful experiment,” said Bhavik Sheth, Financial and Operation manager.

“It was in 2005, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was then the Chief Minister of Gujarat, realized the potential of Rann of Kutch and planted the seed of ‘Rann Utsav’. It is the fruition of his dream and foresight that the White Rann has today become synonymous with Destination Tourism” added Bhavik Sheth
