The Institutes tried to educate the residents of more than 700 societies through 22 branches across the state
Surat: While the 78th Independence Day is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in every corner of the country, Gujarat’s Red & White Multimedia Education, an IT organization, celebrated Independence Day by organizing an awareness rally with the theme ‘Cyber Crime Se Azaadi’ and giving priority to cyber security across Gujarat. More than 1500 students from various branches located in Surat, Navsari, Bharuch, Anand, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Amreli and Bhavnagar in Gujarat participated voluntarily with various posters. This successful experiment was conducted to make more than 700 society residents aware from cyber crime.
India got independence from the British 78 years ago but today there is a dire need to get rid of another problem, whose name is “Cyber Crime”. In the era of modern technology, anyone who uses any kind of gadget is becoming a victim of cyber crime. Mainly the victims are losing huge amounts of money or becoming victims of other harassment due to lack of cyber security knowledge.
To stop this entire incident and to get freedom from such digital problems, a campaign called ‘Cyber Crime Se Azaadi’ was launched. Through this rally, the students gave detailed information to the public about cyber threats and how to avoid them, went door-to-door and spread the message through slogans and posters and made efforts to make this awareness campaign a success.
