TransStadia receives the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar; a first time for our state of Gujarat

Ahmedabad, 10th December 2022: TransStadia is a sports and sports infrastructure development company that has pioneered Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in Gujarat, and has received the honor of the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar.

The award has been conferred on TransStadia in recognition of its contribution to the field of “Identification and Nurturing of Budding and Young Talent”.

Udit Sheth, Founder & Managing Director, TransStadia Enterprises received the award on behalf of TransStadia from the Hon’ble President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu ji at the Rashtriya Khel Awards, held at the Rashtripati Bhavan at our capital New Delhi.

TransStadia was selected for the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar following a detailed evaluation of the number of children identified and nurtured in the last three years, the infrastructure created, number of educational institutions adopted, number of sportspersons trained, equipment and other support extended, number of competitions/tournaments held, achievement of the talent identified, and other parameters.

TransStadia’s vision is to set up at least 12-15 world-class sports infrastructure projects in all major urban areas in the next three to five years while creating a SMART CITY eco-system to make our cities alive. These projects will provide access to not only sports, but also to training, development, hospitality, high performance, sports medicine and more. At TransStadia, our commitment is to identify young talent, provide them with world-class sports infrastructure, training and nurture them to compete at the national and international levels. The commitment is to build a new India through its soft power. This project is poised to catalyze the thought that sports sector can be a GDP contributor and create immense value for our communities and bring laurels to India.
