Unicommerce strengthens Gujarat presence with new Surat office to drive e-commerce innovation

21 September 2024, Surat: Unicommerce, one of India’s leading e-commerce enablement SaaS platforms, today announced the launch of a new sales office in Surat, aimed at supporting the rapid growth of e-commerce businesses across Gujarat.

The announcement was made on the sidelines of eKumbh Surat, a business event organised by Unicommerce that attracted delegates from 2000+ businesses from across Gujarat. It provided a platform for brands, retailers and tech innovators to explore the latest advancements in the e-commerce and retail industry.

Unicommerce works with some of India’s largest brands and retail companies and provides its comprehensive technology platform for seamless post purchase operations management. As part of its expansion strategy, the new office will cater to both national and local brands, augmenting Gujarat’s position as a key market for Unicommerce where it currently powers more than 500 businesses.

Unicommerce is also offering new sellers in Gujarat, free access to its technology platform, allowing them to process up to 500 orders per month at no cost for an entire year. This initiative is designed to help businesses of all sizes leverage its platform to enhance their operational efficiency.

Some categories that observed significant growth included FMCG & Agriculture, Beauty, Wellness & Personal Care, Fashion & Accessories and Home Decor.

As of Q1 2025, Unicommerce serves 3600+ clients including D2C brands, retail and e-commerce companies as well as logistics provider firms. With 250+ technology & partner integrations, the company has achieved an annual transaction run rate of 850+ million order items managing 8300+ warehouses and 2950+ omni-enabled stores across geographies.
