World Milk Day Celebration: Vastu Charitable Trust distributes A2 milk to orphans in Ahmedabad

A2 milk of Gir cow is pure, healthy and full of nutrients and helps develop immunity

Ahmedabad: Since 2001, the UN has celebrated June 1 as World Milk Day to create better awareness and increase the accessibility to this wholesome food, particularly in countries with high levels of malnutrition among women and children.

Vastu Charitable Trust, the philanthropic arm of Vastu Dairy, celebrated World Milk Day by distributing A2 milk of Gir cow among orphans of Akhand Jyot Charitable Trust in Paldi, Ahmedabad.

The milk distribution was preceded by a session on the importance of milk in everyday diet. The initiative was led from the front by trustee Shri Bhupat Sukhadia, who is also the chairman of Vastu Dairy.

Shri Sukhadia’s efforts garnered much praise from the ashram administrators and the children.

A2 milk of Gir cow is not only 100% pure but also provides immunity against over 50 diseases. A2 milk contains cerebrosides which among other things help boost brainpower. The presence of Vitamin A and calcium in the milk helps improve eye and bone health. It also contains high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids which help improve good cholesterol in the body. Many doctors now recommend A2 milk of Gir cow for regular consumption.
