AI-Powered Creativity on Campus- JD School of Design Hosts Adobe Learning Program with Adobe Executive Mr. Ujjual

As the creative world continues to evolve at lightning speed, one of the most profound shifts shaping modern design is the rise of Artificial Intelligence. AI is no longer simply a supporting tool—it has become a collaborator, a catalyst and in many ways, a new form of creative intelligence. To introduce students and faculty to this transformative landscape, JD School of Design hosted an exclusive Adobe Learning Program on campus in November 2025, led by Adobe Executive Mr Ujjual, whose rich background in industry innovation and academic teaching added immense value to each session.

The program was spread over two intensive workshops: one intended for students on 21 November, and the other designed for faculty and academic staff on 19 November. Both sessions opened the in-depth exploration of Adobe’s latest AI-powered inventions in the fields of Adobe Express, Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom, technologies that are radically transforming how ideas are generated, developed, and presented.

The workshops talked about the use of AI to increase creative output and make academic workflows more efficient, while underlining one very potent idea: those who figure out how to use smart design tools as their allies and not as rivals are the ones who will have the future.

Student Workshop: Exploring Creativity Through AI

The workshop was an eye-opening experience for students from various fields who encountered an entirely new concept of creative liberty. Guided by Mr Ujjual, the participants explored how Adobe’s AI-enabled tools can help bring ideas to life faster, with precision and impact. By means of activities and demonstrations, students are taught to use Adobe Express and Firefly to generate concepts quickly, to improve academic submissions, and to make visuals that attract for projects, presentations and portfolios.

Real-world tasks provided students opportunity to play with design, graphics, visual storytelling and AI-driven editing; thus, by trying to be relevant digitally in the academic and professional worlds, they mastered the art and skills of digital design. Regardless of whether they were on creative personal projects, in coursework presentations, or at future career perspectives, students left with real skills that make them more confident.

Faculty & Staff Workshop: Reimagining Teaching with Creative AI

On the following day, the program was targeted at faculty and academic staff of JD, and the main subject was the use of AI for the transformation of teaching and administrative tasks that happen daily. Mr Ujjual, with a corporate-oriented technology background and academic instruction expertise, showed how Adobe tools could help teachers in creating visually attractive course materials, content creation facilitation, and task simplification of giving time.

Teachers got the chance to explore practical examples of implementation through activities that ranged from making attractive lesson plans to upgrading research presentations, thus showing how Adobe Express, Firefly and the Creative Cloud suite can be used to get higher classroom communication levels. In the process of completing a set of exercises guided by the instructor, they had to try out the tools themselves, which led them to uncover realistic integration methods for AI within their instructional techniques and academic responsibilities.

The Adobe Learning Program was an essential moment for the JD School of Design. First, they gave the students and the teachers the hands-on experience with the means that are going to be the base of next-generation creativity. Then, the establishment committed itself to being a leading design education institution.

The participants gained more than just the technical skills; they also left with a renewed feeling of opportunity—the realisation that AI is a tool that helps to unleash creativity, ignites new ideas, and opens doors to more significant potentials in various fields. By means of this program, JD School of Design is embarking on a journey that will undoubtedly lead to a future where creativity will be at the heart of innovation, where its community will be empowered to succeed in the digital ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌era.
