AM/NS India T-20 Corporate Cricket Tournament kicks off

Twenty teams from top corporates and organisations will face off in 47 matches over 35 days.

Hazira-Surat, 11th Feb. 2023: The ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) T-20 Corporate Cricket Tournament 2023, organised by the Surat District Cricket Association, got underway at the AM/NS India township in Hazira on Saturday.

The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Matoo, Head of Human Resource Operations, IR & Administration at AM/NS India in the presence of senior officials of AM/NS India, other corporates of Hazira and other participating companies & organizations.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the AM/NS India T-20 Corporate Cricket Tournament 2023 and welcome all the participating teams. We are thankful to Surat District Cricket Association for the opportunity to host this tournament. I am confident we will see a lot of exciting games and excellent cricket during this tournament. I wish the very best to all the participants,” Dr. Matoo said at the tournament’s inauguration.

Twenty teams from top corporates from Surat and surrounding areas are participating in the tournament. The 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five. In all, 47 matches will be played over 35 days during the tournament, which includes 40 in the league stage, followed by four quarterfinals, two semi-finals and the final.
