Feast of Fire & Smoke: Indri Single Malt and The Dram Club Ignite a Night of Flavour & Fantasy at JW Marriott Juhu

Mumbai, (Maharashtra), [India]: The spirit of craftsmanship and indulgence took center stage at Mezzo Mezzo, JW Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai, as Indri Single Malt in collaboration with The Dram Club hosted the highly anticipated “Feast of Fire & Smoke” an immersive evening of fine single malt whisky and culinary excellence.

Teleporting guests into a world where fire met flavour, the evening unfolded in a captivating setting filled with rich aromas of aged malts, dramatic lighting and the sizzle of expertly curated delicacies. Inspired by the mythical world of dragons, Mezzo Mezzo was transformed into a mystical realm, setting the perfect stage for this fantasy-infused celebration.

The event showcased Indri’s two exquisite expressions of single malts that are inspired by the iconic councils of Westeros – House of Green and House of Black. Each expression reveals the depth, complexity and refined craftsmanship that the distillery is renowned for. Guests embarked on a guided tasting journey led by experts from The Dram Club, exploring the intricate layers of the spirits through nosing techniques, barrel stories and expert pairing.

A specially curated multi-course menu elevated the experience, crafted to complement the distinct characteristics of two bold expressions encouraging guests to pledge their allegiance and #ChooseYourSide.

House of Green, the unpeated expression, opened with aromas of ripe bananas, vanilla, toffee and honey. Its palate unfolded into a delicate bouquet of sweet, fruity, floral and nutty layers, followed by a gentle spiced undertone and a soft, lingering fruity finish.

House of Black, the peated expression, offered a bold bouquet of sweet toffee, creamy with hints of subtle peat and dry fruits. The palate offered chocolate, figs and a light earthiness, ending with a sweet richness and a whisper of lingering peat.

Each course of the meal was thoughtfully designed to evoke the spirit of the Houses, enhancing the storytelling. Live music, themed attire and interactive experiences brought the evening to life, offering guests a multisensory journey where they didn’t just sip the single malts, they stepped into a narrative of flavour, fire and friendly rivalry.

“Feast of Fire & Smoke” was more than an event; it was a true delight to the Game of Thrones fans and single malt connoisseurs.
