Kerala Tourism to roll out new products, experiences across India ahead of festival, holiday seasons

Surat, 26 September, 2025: Kerala Tourism has unpacked a set of experiential products tailored to meet the demands of the domestic and international travelers ahead of the festival and winter holiday seasons, which will be showcased before a larger audience across the country as part of its massive market outreach.

Besides boosting Kerala’s credentials as a safe, hospitable and welcoming destination, the outreach planned in major Indian cities will spotlight on a slew of riveting products and experiences, including a string of newly added locales on the state’s tourism map side-by-side the time-tested backwaters, beaches and hill stations.

The upcoming campaign has been meticulously worked out to add a further momentum to tourism in Kerala, which has already been witnessing a massive surge in arrivals, Tourism Minister Shri P A Mohamed Riyas said.

The roadshows and networking events will give greater visibility to the innovative products rolled out by state to meet the demands of tourists within India and abroad, the Minister added.

Kerala Tourism, which showcased its readiness to the world for Destination Weddings and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) at the recently concluded Wedding and MICE Conclave at Kochi, will vigorously showcase these strengths in the B2B meets and trade fairs.

Heralding a new era of luxury and leisure, Kerala, endowed with pristine natural beauty, vibrant culture and rich heritage, is quickly emerging as a preferred hub not only for destination weddings but also for MICE events. With its spectacular landscapes, world-class facilities and seamless blend of tradition and modernity, the state is attracting event planners, couples and corporate clients looking for a distinctive and memorable experience, said Shri Biju K, Secretary – Tourism, Government of Kerala.

To further entice tourists, also on display will be the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (12th Dec, 2025 – 31st March, 2026), hailed as India’s most significant new-age art event, and the Champions Boat League (CBL) (19th Sep – 06th Dec 2025), that has started from September 19 at Kainakkary in Alappuzha.

Alongside the new projects, the state’s core assets like beaches, hill stations, houseboats and backwater segment will heighten the totality of the visitors’ experience. The state is unique in having a variety of experiences for travel enthusiasts like houseboats, caravan stays, plantation visits, jungle resorts, homestays, Ayurveda-based wellness solutions, adventure activities and countryside walks, including trekking to verdant hills.

Scripting an all-time record in domestic tourist visits, Kerala attracted 2,22,46,989 visitors from within the country in the calendar year 2024, and the state seeks to build on the increase on footfalls it has achieved since the resurgence post Covid-19 said Kerala Tourism Director Smt. Sikha Surendran.
