With the Paytm app, users can set up recharge reminders, so that they can recharge their mobile plans in a timely manner. The company enables multiple recharges for family and friends with the option of directly adding a number from the user’s contact list.

How to do a mobile prepaid recharge using Paytm:

  1. Open the Paytm app and go to ‘Recharges & Bill Payments’
  2. Select ‘Mobile Recharge’ and enter the mobile number or add a number from the contacts
  3. Select the operator’s plan or enter the amount to recharge
  4. To complete the recharge, click on ‘Fast forward’ or ‘Pay’. With the fast forward option, amount is directly deducted from Paytm Wallet whereas the proceed to bill pay option takes the user to the payments page with multiple options to pay like Paytm UPI, Paytm Wallet, netbanking, credit cards and debit cards
