An inter-school cultural fest on India Towards Achieving Sustainability

Surat:- T.M Patel International School, organized 12th edition of the inter-school cultural fest–‘TIRANGAA’ , With an aim to commemorate the diversity, solidarity and persistence towards making a sustainable India. The theme of Tirangaa 2022 was “India-towards Achieving Sustainability”. The fest hosted by T.M Patel International School witnessed participation from over 700 students representing more than 12 schools from the city.

We are extremely elated to host the 12th edition of Tirangaa and we have received outstanding responses from the students and schools. Tirangaa is a platform which brings children together every year to showcase their talent and exemplify their skills to solve global and local problems in achieving sustainability

According to the Principal, T.M Patel International School, Mr. K Maxwell Manohar, “The activities were assigned to the students as per their age groups. Students from pre-primary 1 and pre-primary 2 participated in fancy dress competition “Life Under Water”, Grade 1 and 2 participated in Drawing –Good Health and well-being, Designing jewellery using natural materials Grade 3 to 5 had Poster Making- Combat Global change, Grade 6 to 12 had Elocution and Project presentation on Sustainable practices including Street play on Stopping cruelty to animals & Grade 9 to 12 had Model making- Solar Power and Art Installation of Sustainable Living.”

He further said, “Tirangaa is organized every year on the occasion of Independence Day with the vision of tapping hidden talent in every child and to provide a fun inter-school platform for children to compete and exhibit their skills within their respective age groups.”
