The Bakers Association organized an awareness seminar regarding the new GST slab

Surat: Recently, the Modi government doubled the joy of Diwali by introducing changes to the GST slab. This change is being widely appreciated and seen as a new revolution in the country. To ensure that merchants and the general public understand this GST slab, the Bakers Association in Surat organized a Next Generation GST Awareness Seminar. Several renowned bakers from Surat participated in the seminar and sought to understand the new slab in depth.

The seminar began with information about the new GST slab for merchants. The new tax should be implemented from September 22nd, benefiting customers, and other suggestions were discussed. The seminar was held in Business Hub, Hazira, with Rich’s serving as the main organizer.

At the seminar, Atul Vekariya President of the Bakers Association, stated that this new slab will significantly benefit bakery producers, especially those in the region. This new slab will provide relief to small businesses and provide cheaper prices to consumers. The entire bakery sector appears eager and prepared for this change.

Return filing will be easier

The implementation of the new GST rates will reduce the prices of bread, khakhra, and other bakery products. Traders will benefit significantly due to the more clear-cut nature of input credit on premium cakes, chocolates, and specialty products. This will also significantly simplify return filing for small and medium bakers.
